갤러리까비넷은 공예 작가를 다루는 쇼룸과 기획 전시가 이루어지는 전시장 각 두 개의 공간을 운영하며, 꾸준한 작가 발굴과 기획 전시 개인전 등을 통해 작가들에게 작품을 소개할 수 있는 기회를 제공하며 나아가 작가들의 작업세계의 적극적인 지지와 활동의 폭을 함께 넓혀 가기 위해 노력할 것입니다.
The Gallery Kabinett renovated an old house located at Seongsu-dong in 2016 and transformed it into the current gallery to present art that approaches life.
Since its opening, the "Kabinett" has grown into a contemporary gallery by hosting a number of the special exhibitions and introducing leading young artists from home and abroad.
In addition, it has been playing a role as a platform for various cultural and artistic trends by presenting crafts and designs through contemporary art while working with domestic and foreign craft artists.
Gallery Kabinett operates two separate spaces, a showroom dealing with craft artists, and an exhibition hall where special exhibitions are held.
We are planning to discover new artists and provide the opportunities for artists by introducing their works through various exhibitions. And furthermore, we will strive to broaden the scope of activities and active support of the artists' world of work.
